Roadkill Zen Journal

http://www.roadkillzen.net/home/

  Call for poetry submissions

"RKz 1.08" will be the first edition of Roadkill Zen's online
poetry journal for 2008. Submission guidelines: Send up to two
poems of any style and format, no longer than forty single spaced
lines, and fitting the themes of urban and/or rural decay,
Appalachian mountain cultural confusion and appreciation,
misunderstood or overlooked beauty, and mountain zen. Though our
journal is based squarely in the Appalachian Mountains (at the
famous Cumberland Gap), you need not be an Appalachian native, just
able to see and hear the direction of our journal. So, outlanders
are welcome. Send submissions within the body of an e-mail to,
  mountainfocusart@gmail.com by July 31st, 2008.

  ·         Here are some of the few "please don'ts": no previously
  online or printed published material.

  ·         Here are the "please do" requests: Provide e-mail contact
information, a short bio (about 150 words), AND a brief
explanation concerning your opinions on poetry in general and why
you choose to communicate with the world in this creative way.
