City of Muses: Newark Artists and their Students

Performances begin at 5:30, Awards Ceremony at 6:15, Performances resume at 7 pm.

Celebrating the time-honored tradition of mentoring young artists, this
exhibition brings together the best work of selected artists teaching in
the Newark Public Schools and the work of their chosen students.
Exhibition jurors are artists Rodriguez Calero and Nadine LaFond.

"City of Muses" is organized in partnership between the Paul Robeson
Galleries, Jorge Daniel Veneciano, Director, and the Newark Public
School's Office of Visual and Performing Arts, William May, Director. The
exhibition is supported, in part, by funds from the Newark Arts Council.
