Welcome to the Suburbs (1950s Redbook Series) (note the value system this film advocates)

Pete Seeger (renowned folk singer) singing Little Boxes Ca. 1963 --- protest to suburbia, but he was still a regular on TV networks and had major record label distribution.

Hit TV show “Weeds” uses Little Boxes as its theme song – 2005.

To promote their program, they held a contest where viewers could submit their version of the theme song see example. Search YouTube for hundreds of versions. Illusion of participatory culture where individualism can be regained… bu, in the end, they want us all to watch Weeds.
