 IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT QUIZ 4

 

This is a wiki exam.

You will collaboratively answer 1 question.

The answer will be printed by Professor Aristimuno

at 5:00 pm DEC 21st

 

The final answers will be graded and

everyone will initially receive the same grade on this part of the exam.

Professor will also check to see who contributed to the answers.

Individual grades may reflect participation.

 

Please print these directions and follow them directions carefully.

 

1.      1.       Go to http://scratchpad.wikia.com

2.      2.       On top Right corner : click ÒCreate AccountÓ

3.      3.       Follow directions to create account.

4.      4.       Once acct is created, login. --- You must login so your edits can be traced.

5.      5.       Go to this wiki http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/PublicSphere

6.      6.       Click on the ÒEditÓ tab and proceed to edit the answer.

a.      The goal is to get the best answer possible (without, of course, copying the book!)

b.      If you feel you can clarify something, do so

c.      If you feel you can add something thatÕs not there yet, do so.

d.      If you feel someone wrote something thatÕs not correct, fix it.

e.      If you want to add an example, add it.

f.       If you want to add a link, do so.

g.      The idea is that you will use your collective intelligence to create the best possible answer given the time constraints.

h.      There are no page limitations, as long as the question is answered fully, with examples and references to from Jenkins and other readings.

7.      When you finish your edit, click SAVE PAGE.

8.      You may want to copy and paste the answer on to some Word document you can save in case of catastrophic erasure of the group answer.

9.      In each of these articles, you will find a ÒWatchÓ link. Click it so you can keep watch as the answer gets edited by others.

10.  I will print out the final answer at 5:00 DEC 21st The whole class will receive the same grade on each question.
