- Au, Ka-Neng, with Paul Pattwell.
FEDS: Federal Documents System. Version 2.0.
(installed at the Newark Public Library, 1992; Dana Library, 1992).
- A bibliographic management program for Federal Government Documents received through the depository program, with access by title, Superintendent of Documents number, and item number. Enabled both the Newark Public Library and the Dana Library for the first time to maintain a shelflist of all current documents. This program has been requested by depository libraries in New Jersey and other states.
- Au, Ka-Neng, with Jeris Cassel.
CD-RUL: CD-ROMs at RUL. (installed at Kilmer Library, 1991; Dana Library, 1991).
- A database of CD-ROM titles at the University Libraries, created to produce the PC Working Group document CD-ROMs at the Rutgers University Libraries, 2nd ed. (1991). Reports were generated by title, subject, and for each library.
- Au, Ka-Neng.
SAL: Selectors and Liaisons. (installed at Dana Library, 1989; Rutgers University Libraries Administration, 1989).
- A records manager relating subject bibliographers in the Rutgers University Libraries with their faculty liaisons. Reports were generated for each library and all major disciplines.
- Au, Ka-Neng.
EL PASO: Extended Listing of Periodicals and Standing Orders. (installed at Dana Library, 1988).
- A revised version of SOS (see below) for all periodicals and standing orders received at Dana Library, generating reports by discipline or department, for distribution to library patrons.

LAB: Lenders and Borrowers. (installed at Dana Library, 1987).
- An accounting system for inter-library (ILL) statistics, e.g. frequency of journal titles requested, turn-around times, number of requests by patron type and by departmental affiliation. As a result, Dana librarians have been alerted to journal titles for possible inclusion into the collection. The program also enabled the efficiency of the ILL service to be monitored.

IHS: Inventory of Hardware and Software. (installed at Alexander Library, 1986; Dana Library, 1987).
- A records manager for GEAC, RLIN, and microcomputer hardware and software
installed in the Rutgers University Libraries.
- Au, Ka-Neng.
SOS: Standing Orders System. (installed at Alexander Library, 1986).
- A report generator for titles on standing order, by fund code, location, and material type. Bibliographers at Alexander Library are currently using these reports to aid them in their collection development decisions.

MIA: Missing in Action. (prototype tested at
the Library of Science and Medicine, 1985).
- A tracking system for managing and replacing missing journal issues.
