Getting to Karachi: Immunizations

Tetanus vaccinations and Malaria medications are highly recommended.

Vaccinations against Typhoid and Hepatitis A & B are recommended.

For those people traveling from areas infected by cholera or yellow fever, you may be required to show proof of up-to-date cholera or yellow fever vaccinations when entering the country. You are encouraged to consult your physician or your local health department on any other immunizations you may possibly need. You may want to ask about a polio vaccination. Keep in mind, though, that the vaccinations required by someone visiting for a week or two are different from those required for someone visiting for several months or longer.
