This software created by Benjamin Beeker and myself computes and shows circle packings and Riemann conformal mappings.

Hitchin

This software created by Jonah Gaster and myself computes and shows equivariant harmonic maps from the hyperbolic plane $\mathbb{H}^2$ to hyperbolic 3-space $\mathbb{H}^3$ (or in the future, more general symmetric spaces).

One of the goals of this project is to experimentally investigate some aspects of the "nonabelian Hodge correspondence" (and of the Hitchin fibration) relating the character variety of a surface group to moduli spaces of Higgs bundles.
