Psychology
The Psychology Major: Psychology is the study of the behavior of the individual. It is a multifaceted discipline ranging from the study of the biological basis of behavior to the study of the individual in a social context. Psychology is inherently intriguing-how do babies learn, how do social factors influence the brain, how can we treat autism? Studying psychology at Rutgers-Newark is all the more fascinating because undergraduates learn in small classes taught by brilliant faculty who share their passion for exploring human behavior.
