Listen Up! is a youth media network that connects young video producers and their allies to resources, support, and projects in order to develop the field and achieve an authentic youth voice in the mass media.

MAKING WAVES: Stories of Participatory Communication for Social Change
Funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, this report "gathers a collection of fifty case stories, brief descriptions of experiences of communication for social change that were selected for their participatory approaches." (PDF version available)

Inigo Manglano-Ovalle, founder of Street-Level Video (S-L.V.), organized what was a spectacular collaboration, a one-day, video-installation block party called Tele-Vecindario

Using video production, computer art and the Internet, Street-Level's young people address community issues, access advanced communication technology and gain inclusion in our information-based society.

MANHATTAN NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK :
"Manhattan Neighborhood Network is responsible for administering the Public Access cable television services in Manhattan. Our purpose is to ensure the ability of Manhattan residents to exercise their First Amendment rights through the medium of cable television and to create opportunities for mutual communication, education, artistic expression and other noncommercial uses of video facilities on an open, uncensored and equitable basis.".

SHAREIDEAS.ORG :
Mobile Knowledge for Social Change : ShareIdeas.org is an online community and a wiki for sharing ideas on how to use mobile communications for social and environmental benefits.

MEDIA THAT MATTERS FILM FESTIVAL:
Sustainability, Justice, Civic Engagement : these topics and more are tackled by the Media That Matters Film Festival. Launching June 1st, 2005, the Festival brings high-impact shorts and Take Action tools to audiences around the country.
