The Department administers jointly with Political Science a minor in International Affairs which requires 21 credits in economics, history, political science, language and civilization.

The Department encourages its students to double major and to add appropriate minors to their language major. It also advises its students about study abroad opportunities offered by Rutgers and other institutions.
