Professor Grieder is interested in European social, intellectual, and literary history, and particularly in France and England in the eighteenth century. She is the author of Translations of French Sentimental Fiction in Late Eighteenth-Century England: The History of a Literary Vogue (Duke University Press) and Anglomania in France, 1740-1789: Fact, Fiction and Political Discourse (Geneva: Librairie Droz).
