2. Adobe is also offering an Acrobat 3.0 reader (95, NT, 3.x,
DOS, etc.) for free download (3+ MB) without expiry. I haven't done
it yet.
3. PC Magazine for 3/25/97, out this week, is a 15th anniversary
issue with many items on state-of-the art stuff in different areas.
Worth a peek.
4. The humanities sites from the Dana demo is uploaded to
http://newark.rutgers.edu/~ehrlich/27feb97.html
I'll also upload it to the dept page -- waiting for the name change
to come through. In scanning through for the demo I found a great many
impressive sites that were not there on my last survey a few months ago.
Let me knnow of any other things from the 27 Feb demo. We need a
humanities resource handout page on what's where on Dana 4.
5. Thanks to Ray Schwartz for posting the meeting of the SGML
society in NYC. which I'll attend. (Registration advised.)
6. A separate Humanist posting I forwarded today indicates that
the British Library catalog will finally be available on the Web, if
I understand the announcement.
