Research in Organometallic & Polymer Chemistry

Welcome to the Jäkle Research Group !

Research in the Jäkle group is highly interdisciplinary, involving aspects of organic, organometallic, polymer and materials chemistry. Areas of current interest include:

  • Organoborane Functionalization of Polymers and Self-assembly of Organoboron Block Copolymer
  • Chemical Sensors based on Luminescent Polymers
  • New Conjugated Materials for Optoelectronic Devices
  • Polymer-supported Redox-active Metal Complexes
  • Supramolecular Chemistry of Organocopper Complexes
  • Multidentate Lewis Acids for Anion Recognition and Planar Chiral Lewis Acids in Stereoselective Synthesis.
