GRADING: THERE WILL BE TWO MID-TERM EXAMS ON Mon. July 21st and Mon. August 4th. EACH EXAM WILL CONTRIBUTE 100 POINTS TOWARD YOUR FINAL GRADE; CHEMSKILL BUILDER will count as 50 Pts (5 points per unit assigned)

CHEMSKILL BUILDER HOMEWORK MUST BE PASSED WITH A GRADE OF 70% MINIMUM

          THE FINAL EXAM WILL BE CUMULATIVE AND WILL COUNT AS 200 POINTS.

          Grading Summary :
          Exam 1                         100 pts;
          Exam 2                         100 pts;
          Electronic Homework     50 pts;
          Final exam                     200 pts
          TOTAL                         450 POINTS.

          MAKE-UP EXAMS: Only those students who do not attend a mid-term exam due to illness or an emergency and can produce satisfactory documentation (e.g. doctor's note, police report) as to their absence will be permitted to take a make-up test. Dates for make-up tests (if necessary) will be announced in class. Please note:- make-up exams are often harder than the regular test and are graded the same.
