Jeffrey W. Merrick

Jeffrey W. Merrick, Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, received his Ph. D. from Yale University. He has published The Desacralization of the French Monarchy in the Eighteenth Century; a volume on André Morellet (1727-1819) in the Republic of Letters and the French Revolution (co-edited with Dorothy Medlin); and articles on early modern French political culture.
