Philip Stewart

Philip Stewart is Professor of French at Duke University, and author of Half-Told Tales: Dilemmas of Meaning in Three French Novels and Engraven Desire: Eros, Image, and Text in the French Eighteenth Century. He has also translated Rousseau's Julie ou la nouvelle Héloïse for The Collected Writings of Rousseau.
