These interesting statistics on the ages of deacons in the US and Canada come from Ted Hallenbeck at the North American Association for the Diaconate (NAAD). Their database includes birthdates (where deacons have provided them; most do) and is pretty inclusive -- most Dioceses are good about getting their deacon postulants plugged into NAAD.
