The words comforted me as I go through my divorce
with my partner john of 9yrs. I have lost him because i cannot accept
myself as a gay man. I have been afraid to go outside with him as a
couple. I have even avoided social gatherings and parties because of
my built in shame that i learned as a child and young teen.
I hope to be able to someday be a proud gay man ..
