Situational ethics is not Christian or Biblical morality. Basically the Episcopal church was founded by a man who had already determined that he would violate God's law regarding divorce. There was no religious or spiritual about it. There is no surprise that the "church" would revert back to its original teaching, namely, that divorce and remarriage are determined by the "vision" and experiences of the individual. episcopalians, as many other churches, need to do some real soul-searching and praying for God-directed morality.
