Louie Crew's Tricks:mm:Saving what you mail
Saving what you mail

I will answer with two methods.
a. To save only yr. current outgoing message
First, write your reply normally. Then use ESC to get to the S> prompt.
At the S> prompt, before you send, enter
fcc filename
or
fcc filename
That will return you to the S> prompt. When you send your message, mm
will send you a copy directly to the 'filename' you have specified.
If you would like to be prompted for an fcc (file carbon copy) for
each message, rather than try to remember to enter the command sequence,
at the MM> prompt enter this sequence:
set prompt-for-fcc yes
save-init
b. To save all yr. outgoing messages automatically
If you prefer to save all your outgoing mail automatically without having
to remember each time, do this.
At any MM> prompt, enter this sequence:
set default-fcc-list outgoing
save-init
Thereafter, all your outgoing messages will be saved in a file named
'outgoing' or any other name you give instead in line 1 of this sequence.
Beware, 'outgoing' will become very large. From time to time you will
want to 'get outgoing' it (i.e., enter 'outgoing' as a mailbox), prune
it, and file some of the messages to other collections, etc.)
Enjoy!
