The easiest way is to hit ESC when you're ready to end message. The at the
S> prompt, enter

      spell

When the spell check shows an error, type the number of the suggested
correction that seems right, or, if it gives no suggestions, type

      ?

to review the other commands within the spell checker.

Once the spell checker has finished, you will return to the s> prompt. Then
type s to send the letter

                   A Second, Better, But More Difficult Way

At the s> prompt enter ed to evoke the editor, or within your
message that you are writing, type CTRL/E to evoke the editor. {At a
Macintosh keyboard, that's COMMAND/E}

Before you do this, be sure that you have studied the command of your default editor, which is emacs.
