Searching even within nn messages

Sometimes I need to search all the text in messages for one or more groups,
as I did when I wrote this query:

cd /news/spool    will get you started...
however, there are no articles before two weeks ago on our system, with
a few exceptions, most of them groups local to Rutgers.
