Creating Signature Files

Signature files are those files which appear at the bottom of much
correspondence in cyberspace.   You can create one for yourself.

First, use emacs to create a file called   .signature
It has to have that '.' and that word 'signature'.

Next, enter MM and at the mm prompt enter these two lines:

   set append-signature ask
   save-init

Thereafter, every time you send a message, just as it is about to be
queued, mm  will ask you whether to use your .signature file for that
message.  

If you would prefer to have it appended to ALL messages without asking you,
use this sequence instead:

   set append-signature yes
   save-init
