Printing in the RUCS Labs Printing in the RUCS Labs Printing is specific to the lab that you are in. Check the walls around the lab and you can usually find the instructions that get you to the printer in that same room, or the printer closest to it.

First you will need to save as a file any item that you want to print. For example, if you want to print this message, first you must save it as a file. You can do that by entering this command at the R> prompt:

copy now

[that copies this message to a file called 'now']

Next, you would leave mm by the command Quit. When you are back at the pegasus> prompt, you may print files by using the command

lpmenu

While in lpmenu, you will be prompted to choose your printer from a menu and then will be prompted to name the file to print. In this case, the file name will be 'now' [or whatever alternative name you gave it].
