Dear Dr. Crew,

Thank you very much for your letter of the 29th August regarding the
commitment made by bishops to homosexual persons following the 1998
Lambeth Conference.

It is very good of you to offer your time but our bishops already have had
people of experience on these islands to speak on this issue.  It is good
of you to think of us but I feel that we have taken sufficient steps at
the moment in this matter.
