The goal of the Poetry Revolt is to publish poems that smash the
bounds of current academic and workshop poetry.  We are looking for
vivid, dramatic poems with intensity and dynamic progression, and, in
a separate section, humorous and satiric poetry with bite (not
labored and self-conscious irony) for our second print issue, Winter,
2008.  Poems will appear online as well as in print.

The Poetry Revolt currently has 400 unique visitors per month and is
read in 17 countries.  We have received many messages of support for
out goal of moving forward to a new 21st century poetics, and we look
forward to poets and readers joining us in this crucial enterprise.
