Shocking revelations regarding diocesan accountability to our common life

A recent report of TEC's Treasurer reveals that the Diocese of Haiti, in the
poorest country in the western hemisphere, contributed to TEC in actual
dollar amounts more than twice the combined contributions of 10 other
dioceses:

Diocese of Coloombia, zero
Diocese of Dallas, zero
Diocese of Central Ecuador, $500
Diocese of Litoral Ecuador, $1,500
Diocese of Fort Worth, zero
Diocese of Honduras, zero
Diocese of Navajoland, zero
Diocese of Pittsburgh, zero
Diocese of Quincy, zero
Diocese of Sam Joaquin, zero

Some others are generous:

54 of TEC's 111 dioceses contributed 15% of their 2005 income for 2007. I

I am disturbed to see my own diocese among the delinquent and am making the
relevant inquiries.  I hope deputies from other dioceses
delinquent in payments will inquire and report to us here.
