Executive Council Liaison: The Rev. Robert L. SessumWe would describe our “niche” within the overall mission of the Church as follows:
To develop and recommend strategies on issues of international peace with justice and to make recommendations thereto to: to the Presiding Bishop, the Executive Council, and the General Convention in collaboration with our Anglican partners.
We are taking the time to explore and exchange the richness of our commission. This helps us to be more effective as a team.
The awareness will enable us to complete our tasks because so many issues have an “overlay” of racism/xenophobia

We need to coordinate with Commission on World Mission, the Washington Office, EPJN, Peace with Justice Officer, and other Church Center Staff; with MTS Travel and the General Convention Office
We intend to work on it with: Fact-finding partner visit to Haiti.
We need to coordinate with Commission, MTS, Diocese of Haiti.
We intend to work on it with: Reports from Lambeth, WCC Assembly (50th Anniversary), June Conference on Suffering Churches (in NY), Israel/Palestine, Japan/Okinawa and China/Tibet

We intend to work on it with: Reports from Lambeth, WCC, fact-finding partner visits by sub-committee to individual bishops and church leaders from Africa
