Bishops Eligible to Be Translated in January 2007
Article 2, Section 8 of the Constitution of
the Episcopal Church requires that a bishop must serve for at least 5 years
in a diocese where elected before being eligible to be translated to
another diocese. Here are the bishops who will be under 65 in January 2007
who will also have met the 5-year requirement at that
time. I have omitted the five who have already retired but would be eligible.
