Commuting between Newark Campus and Stevens Institute of Technology

Walk from Robert Treat hotel to Newark Penn Station. It takes about 12 min.

Take Newark-WTC (red) line from Newark Penn Station to Journal Square. The train ride is 11 min and the train runs every 15 min.

Change to Journal Square-33St line from Journal Square to Hoboken. The train ride is 13 min and the train runs every 15 min.

Then it is about 12 minutes walk to Stevens Institute of Technology.

By NJ Transit Train from Newark Penn Station:

Walk from Robert Treat hotel to Newark Penn Station. It takes about 12 min.

Take the Raritan Valley line (RARV) from Newark Penn Station to Hoboken. The train ride is about 20 min. The train runs every two hours on the weekend.

Note that not every RARV train goes to Hoboken.

Note that not every MNE or MNEG train goes to Hoboken.
