- As part of the DAS business analysis cycle, a six month review
of each
- business is carried out by DAS Commercial Treasury. In the
past this
- review has been purely "number crunching". Beginning with the
December
- 1995 analysis DAS Commercial Treasury now analyses the
business using a
- full suite of colour graphs and tables, along with detailed
commentary
- on the findings. This form of analysis was well received by
the DAS
- executive as it presented the information in a far more user
friendly
- format. The next step in this process will be to present the
information
- electronically using an Executive Information System. This
will allow
- the user far more flexibility with the type of analysis
carried out,
- while at the same time presenting data on an exception basis.
