The resources featured on this website are divided into four sections described below. The resources are available free of charge, but we ask that you register and you will be able to receive updates and information about CDGP. Curricular Courses - This section provides an archive of performance measurement syllabi and related citizen participation syllabi. If you have a syllabus that you would like added to the archive, please send the syllabus as an MS Word attachment to ncpp@andromeda.rutgers.edu On-line Modules - A new section to the Citizen-Driven Government website, 15 on-line course modules have been developed. Each module, structured as one-credit course, has been grouped into distinct categories with two other modules to form three-credit courses. These modules are in-depth resources that have been uploaded using Rutgers' blackboard website. Teaching Cases - The cases featured on this website are narratives of citizen-driven initiatives that involve citizens in the measurement of government performance. Each case is presented in three formats: Cases-in-brief are one page summaries of the key concepts of the initiative; Teaching Cases provide enough information to generate meaningful discussions and debate about the various initiatives over the course of at least an hour; and Detailed Cases are longer and are more appropriate for take home assignments where students are asked to critique the different projects. Teaching Resources - In this section you will find a collection of Citizen Surveys, Performance Measurement Manuals and a Bibliography of Performance Measurement and Citizen Satisfaction. In addition to those mentioned above, there are additional resources that are made available. |
