Kelly Robinson was recently named the Interim Director of the Cornwall Center, where he has served as Senior Research Analyst since 2001. He also teaches project evaluation and policy analysis in the Rutgers Graduate School of Public Affairs and Administration. He received his PhD in urban studies and planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His specialty is regional economic development, and much of his research has focused on the relationship between economic development and environmental policy. He also served as an economist with the United States Economic Development Administration in Washington, DC during the Clinton Administration. Dr. Robinson's most recent research focuses on assessing broad patterns in urban health, the impacts of hospital closings, and policies to assist prisoner reintegration.
