Qiushi Wang (PhD University of Nebraska at Omaha) is an Assistant Professor of Public Affairs and Administration. Prior to joining the faculty of Rutgers, Wang taught at the University of Texas at Arlington, Texas. He also served as a visiting instructor and visiting scholar at the City University of Hong Kong and Sun Yat-Sen University, China
Wang's research and teaching interests lie in public finance, with a particular focus on municipal bonds and debt policy, government accounting, public budgeting, public economics and quantitative methods. As seen in his CV, he has published in these areas, including a book and several scholarly journal articles.
Wang is an active member of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) and the Association for Budgeting and Financial Management (ABFM). He was inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha (National Public Administration Honorary) in 2007.
