ADMISSION
Applications are accepted throughout the year and admission decisions are made two to three weeks after completed applications are received. All applicants will be considered on their individual merit. You may be admitted to the program by meeting the following criterion:
  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized university

(College transcripts are required; Letters of recommendation and GRE scores are not required.)

Applicants for the Online Graduate Certificate in Government and Nonprofit Financial Management may take courses by completing the graduate application at http://gradstudy.rutgers.edu and selecting the non-degree option.


MATRICULATION
A student who has successfully completed the certificate program can apply for matriculation to the School of Public Affairs and Administration MPA program. He/she can then apply for credit transfer for courses completed under the certificate program within the last 5 years.

In addition, students enrolled in or who are graduates of any accredited Masters program (MPA, MPP, MBA, MSW, MS, etc.) may apply up to 6 applicable credits of completed graduate coursework toward this certificate.
