Blackboard
Q: What if I don't see my course on Blackboard?
You may not see your course(s) right away, since, by default, all classes are "Unavailable," which means the instructors can get into the course site, but students cannot. Courses are typically made "Available" by the instructor a day or two before the course begins, but sometimes not until the day the course starts. Additionally: You will not instantaneously be able to see your course once you have paid. The system needs time to process your payment and place you into the course.
Also: NCPP certificate courses will appear under the "My Organizations Plus" section and NOT the "My Courses" section. The "My Courses" section will most likely say "You are currently not enrolled in any courses" since this is NOT where the NCPP certificate classes appear.
Q: What if I have not received a Blackboard ID and password?
You should receive your Blackboard ID and password within a few days before the start of your first NCPP course, if not earlier. If you do not receive your information by this time, please contact ncpp@andromeda.rutgers.edu
Additionally: You will NOT receive a new Blackboard ID and password for each course. Please use the login information you used for any previous NCPP certificate courses to access Blackboard.
Q: What if I have forgoten my Blackboard ID and/or Password? Please e-mail ncpp@andromeda.rutgers.edu for a resend of your ID and Password. Please indicate your full name and any e-mail address that may have been used previously.
Q: What if I am having issues with Blackboard?
If you have any difficulty using Blackboard, please contact the Newark Computing Services (NCS) Help Desk at 973-353-5083 or help@newark.rutgers.edu. Please identify yourself as a certificate student with the National Center for Public Performance at the School of Public Affairs and Administration when requesting assistance from NCS.

Q: How do I pay for a certificate course?
On the payment website, hover over the menu item called "Certificate Courses" on the left side to reveal the available courses.
Click on the course for which you want to register.
Click the "Add to Cart" button for the course you want.
To check out, click on "Proceed to Checkout" on the top right of the page that now appears, or hover over the "My Cart" button and then choose "Checkout."
If you are not logged in, it will ask you if you want to register or if you have an account already. If you do not have an account, you will have to register. If you have an account on this system, choose "I've already registered, and would like to login."
Follow the login process. You will be redirected to the secure checkout process. Follow the checkout process and complete payment.
Q: Why doesn't my previous login from my NCPP account work on this storefront?
Since this is a new payment system, everyone purchasing a course from this system for the first time will have to register. Students can not use the information they used on ncpp.us.
Q: What if I have forgotten my Password for the SPAA payment site?
On the home page of the payment site, hover over "Log in" in the upper right portion of the blue bar and choose "Forgot Password" from the drop down menu. Type in your username and hit the "Continue" button.
Q: What if I have forgotten my Username for the SPAA payment site?
