Participants in this elective seminar traditionally bring extensive knowledge of computer fundamentals from prior courses and from professional exposure. The seminar aims to unite and reinforce this knowledge, in the early part of the term, and to extend it through discussions, readings, and term projects, in the latter part. The content of this semistructured course varies from term to term. The overall outline of the course is to:

• Integrate basic concepts pertaining to hardware, software, procedures & communications (approx. 2 weeks)
• Explore DMCIS through class discussion and readings (6), and
