points; D requires 225 points; less than 225 total will yield a grade
of
F. Last day to drop a course or withraw with a W = March 28 Don't even ask if there are extra credit points or papers to increase grades. If you do your work [namely, come to class, go to recitation, read the assigned chapters, do the recommended problems (at the very least), do the ChemSkill every week], then you should do OK in this course. Let's make sure that you understand: this is a 4-credit course. For every credit, you should be spending 3 hours outside of class per week, reading, doing problems, and studying. That means: for this class alone you have to spend 4-1/2 hours in lecture and recitation, then an extra 12 hours per week reading, doing ChemSkill and other problems!
