  Introduction  
  This web site is created so that students and faculty in the School of Public Affairs and Administration, Rutgers-Newark can find what journal related to public administration is avaialble through Rutgers Library.
The journal list is based on Chapter 11 of Research Information Resources for Public Administration (PDF) (avaialble at ASPA web site) .
Each list in this web site shows which volume of a journal is available and where it is. Availability of hardcopies at major Rutgers Libraries and digital files through Rutgers Library internet service are separately indicated.

  How To Use / Notice  
 
      1. Blue characters are clickable. Please click on an initial letter of the journal you search.
2. A name of journal or a status of availability is sometimes blue. It is also clickable. A new window will appear.
3. ITALICs mean "currently subscribed".
4. An article at the beginning of journal name is omitted when journals are listed in alphabetical order.
(e.g., The American Journal of Political Science Review is in List A.)
5. There are several special notices.
(1) [with gaps]: One or more issues are lost.
(2) [w/o v.23:no.1]: v.23:no.1 is lost (or unsubscribed).
(3) [w/ 12m delay]: Due to publisher restrictions, the most recent 12 months are not available.(Such a notice is put only to EBSCOhost resources.)
6. When you find a journal you want is available on internet (through Rutgers Library), you can get it by the following way:
6-1. Go to Rutgers Library website (if you access from off-Campus place, please log-in) and click on "Search IRIS and Other Catalogs".

6-2. Type the name of the journal in the search box, select "PERIODICAL TITLE begins with" from the pull-down menu, and press "search" button.
6-3. Click on the name of the journal you wan, then you can find (some) URL(s) at "Electronic Access". Please click on it(them). A new window will appear.

Or,
6-4. Go to Rutgers Library website (if you access from off-Campus place, please log-in) and click on "Find Articles".
6-5. Click on "Indexes and Databases", select a database which is indicated in this web site (e.g., EBSCOhost, Ingenta, etc.), and press "connect" button.
6-6. Type the name of the journal in the search box.

Or,
6-7. Go to Rutgers Library website (if you access from off-Campus place, please log-in) and click on "Find Articles".
6-8. Click on "Electronic Journal Lists", then click on "Full A-Z List". Please follow the instruction there.
