The MPA degree minimum and maximum time required to complete a degree is determined by a student's full-time or part-time status as follows.  Full-time students take a minimum of one year, an average of two years and they have a maximum of four years to complete the program.  Part-time students take a minimum of two years, an average of four years and they have a maximum of six years to complete the program.  Attending part time, students can earn the degree in about three years.
