Possible Schedule for Full-Time Students

Year 1 + summer:  24 course credits
Year 2 + summer:  24 course credits
Year 2 mid:  comprehensive exams
Year 3 Fall:  dissertation proposal
Year 3-4:  Dissertation

Students may take longer to complete the degree depending upon the number of credits taken each semester, progress on the exams, development and approval of the dissertation proposal, and completion of the dissertation.
