The German Forum for Crime Prevention is a charitable foundation, and is the national service and information centre for crime prevention in Germany.  The main areas of work of the foundation are: to conduct studies within the field of primary prevention of hate crime and violent crime, as well as to pursue the project "safe neighborhoods" to ensure safety in the areas where people live and go about their daily business.  The website includes access to various publications, as well as abstracts of articles published in the foundation journal "forum Kriminalpraevention."  A full English version of the website is under construction.
