Selection Steps for Lookup:

1. On the screen "1990 Census Lookup", select "STF3A Detailed geography - county, place, tract, etc".
2. On the screen "Current Level: State", select " Go to level State -- Place" and "New Jersey" in the list of states at the lower part of the screen, click [Submit].
3. On the screen "Current Level: State -- Place", select your city/borough in the list of place names in New Jersey, click [Submit].
4. On the screen "Choose a data retrieval option:" click [Submit] when "Choose TABLES to retrieve (population, race breakdowns, etc.)" is selected.
5. On the screen "Select the tables you wish to retrieve", select the variable entries by clicking the small box on the left side of each table title. Return to the top of the screen, click [Submit].
6. On the screen of "Choose a data retrieval option:", click [Submit] when "HTML format (easy to read)" is selected.

The Census Tract Street Locator

1. Type in house number, street name, and ZIP code, click [Submit].
2. Click [Profile] to retrieve information about the census tract.
3. Click [Compare] at each variable to display information on other census tracts.
