June 15, morning--film presentation and lecture for the Mannes Institute at the Eastman School. (I graduated from the U of Rochester, played in Chuck Mangione's combo class at Eastman, and haven't been back since!)
June 15, evening--perform two sets as a member of Dharma Jazz (with Badal Roy, Vic Juris, Karttikeya) at the Rochester International Jazz Festival.

4 Women: A journey from contemporary music to jazz to indian fusion
Featuring music by Faryal Khan, Ann Gulian, Nisha Asnani, and Fawzia
Afzal-Khan; about 20 minutes each.
I'll be playing piano with Fawzia, who is a singer from Pakistan and a
PhD English prof at Montclair State College; also performing with us
will be flutist Mark Weinstein and a tabla player.
Tickets are $7 at the door. Doors open at 6:15 p.m and the show starts
at 6:30 sharp.
